This project is one of my greatest passions, bringing together my interests in futurism, technology, culture, altruism, and entertainment. I was once told the idea was “too big” for an agency and that the technology to fully realize it didn’t yet exist, so it remains speculative for now. In the coming years, I intend to take on this ambitious vision armed with the learnings, experience and resources I've gained through 5K Project.
THE BIG IDEA
The Black diaspora, the commercial use of AI, and the deprioritization of DEI. What do all of these have in common? Lack of connection. As a marketer, I’ve always pursued purpose, meaning, and value in my work, but I wanted to apply that ambition at a larger scale with lasting impact. By combining my passions, I developed a concept for a new medium of social entertainment that positions Black people as pioneers of emerging technology. A powerful project that lives at the intersection of education, engagement, preservation, and entertainment. The first-ever virtual monument to the black diaspora, powered by AI.
SIZZLE REEL
I collaborated with a visionary AI motion designer and voice actress to generate this 60-second video to articulate JOYSTREAM’s potential to shift culture, address economic imbalance, and reshape how history is carried forward. By connecting the Black diaspora, the project aims to project and preserve collective history on a global scale, while transforming cultural IP into equitable, shared value.
I have high hopes for this vision and am actively seeking the right partnerships to bring it to life in a responsible, thoughtfully regulated way, with care for environmental impact, IP integrity, and the genuine representation of the Black diaspora through a lens of joy.
